1. Is the schema/intellectual level appropriate? 
2. Is the reading level appropriate? 
3. How will students use the content covered? 
4. How is it indexed? 
5. How will students search? (by title, author, keywords vs. Boolean logic, vs. connecting, vs. other?) 
6. Are cross references provided? 
7. How frequently is it updated? 
8. Does some or all of the database need to be updated for curriculum needs? 
9. How accurate is the information presented? 
10. What years does the database content cover? 
11. What services does the vender offer? (We may need to call them for this informaiton.) 
12. How clear is the written documentation? 
14. Is the screen easy to read? 
15. Are the directions clear? 
16. How current is the information presented? 
17. Does the information give feedback immediately if the search is too narrow or too broad? 
18. Are complete citations of material provided? 
19. Will it generate bibliographic information for the user? 
20. Can searches be saved? 
22. How much training would it involve to be comfortable with this database? 
23. What cirteria and or standards were used in creating the database? 
24. Can the database be accessed at home after school by students?

26. Does this database bundle with any others to simultaneously search other databases? 
27. Does the cost of the databased vary depending on population or access? How is the license agreement made?
