20) BookCarts to Ensure Quality Results and Save Class Time
To the Best Part to Save Class Time When Browsing
Boolean Searching for Best Results
My List for Efficient Saving, Printing, and Emailing
22) Professional Development--CEUs and Information Literacy-- Online and In-Person Training They provide trainings, but most of them just seem too long. 30 + minutes doesn’t seem doable for staff development.
The bookcarts seem really easy to use and I think teachers could pick it up quickly.
23)Standards Searching to Build Standards-Based Bookcarts
State and national standards
28) It appears to be easy to share based on bookcarts and remote accessibility, but I didn’t find anything to specifically address the issue.

Newsbank:
20) you can save searches in Access World News
22) NB offers lots of powerpoints and handouts for TLS to easily access and provides a BIG 6 research center-this could be a draw if this is the research process your school uses. The training powerpoint is actually really helpful. Not very engaging, but a great place to start.
23) NB has links for all the standards, but not as easy to use as Gale.
28) works with several online reference help sites to let you upload the information to create your bibliography and also provides a way to copy and paste. Definitely easy to use.

Gale:
20)read crumb navigation that allows users to see where they are in a search by displaying a sequence of pages navigated and you can save your searches and look at them again with the "previous searches" button.
22) Gale provides webinars and trainings. It seems pretty easy to navigate, which translates into easy to teach. I like the biography resource being separate from the student resource center. I find that the biography section is really easy to use, but I really wish the student resource section didn't look so cluttered. I think teacher who are not as comfortable with technology could be easily confused.
23)Curriculum Standards Search-This seemed decent when I check it out, but not particularly earth shattering. Mainly because it comes up with articles or essays to support the standard and not lesson plans or ways to use the information. Bases on national standards.
A national and state curriculum standards search, correlated to the content, that allows educators to quickly identify material by grade and discipline.
28) There is a citation generated attached, so students can easily generate citation information. Infomarking makes it easy to share by creating a list or emailing a url. Teachers can easily set-up something for students.
